Morass the Swamp Caribou
Background story: Swamp caribou's are somewhat of a legend, they are a feared spirit and have known to take those with an impure mind into their swamp never to return. Their eyes glow red in the distance of a misty swamp.. Swamp caribou's are usually found around Tall Trees and Kalatha.
I went for something a little darker with this guy, his background story shares a sinister side of my work suggesting those with greed and gluttony shall perish.
This is my first doll I tried a full hand dyed job, I wanted a light moss green coat to this particular fur. I managed to keep the softness of the fur.
I wanted to make another swamp themed creature but I didn't want to use the same fur as the previous swam themed creature, so I endeavoured into hand dyeing. I think it captured all of the colours and feel of a swamp. I added the black markings on her face and body.
I once again gave him the black eye tufts draw you into his red eyes which represent a sinister side.
