Background story: Ghost-tail squirrels are a very strange creature which reside in the Isle of Missing Souls. Their tails glow a bright purple in the islands foggy weather, giving parts of the island a purple glow. This glow has sparked speculation and myths about the island and its creatures.
It has been a wile since I last made a squirrel doll, this making it my third squirrel. I decided to trial a new body pattern for this guy as I wasn't completely happy with the original body pattern I created. Yūrei was sparked from a desire to create something a little darker and mysterious.
Yūrei is made from thick pile faux furs, I decided to give her purple eyes to relate back to her tail, I was originally going to give her full purple scleras, however decided not to. Her head is decorated with silver rhinestones with one purple rhinestone in the middle.
