Background story: Cloud unicorns have a unique ability where they can transform their shape at any time. They are a relatively small creature, only weighing 10 grams enabling them to jump from cloud to cloud. Cloud unicorns are usually white in colour, however when angry or upset their colour changes into grey like a storm cloud. Cloud unicorns are mostly found in the Alpine Ridge region and in some parts of Clearwater.
These little unicorns are the smallest dolls that I have made, as my dolls seemingly were getting larger and larger, I wanted to make a unicorn sculpt that was small and delicate. I decided against the stereotypical horse looking unicorn and I didn't want to go with a goat looking unicorn either. So I sculpted something in between a goat and horse sculpture. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.
Nebulo is made from a thick pile faux fur, I decided to give her blue eyes to reflect the the sky around her, I also decided to leave the black eye tufts off. Her horn is made from a squishy airdry clay so it's not fragile, it was then painted with acrylic paints.
