Snowy rats are wonderful, gentle little creatures, and love nothing more than to cuddle up to something warm. When they are treated nicely, they will bring little gemstones and treasures back to the ones they love as a sign of respect and gratitude. They also have a highly effective camouflaged coat made up of a thicker undercoat to protect them from the cold temperatures. Snowy rats are found from Alpine Ridge throughout Clearwater and in the northern areas of Tall Trees.
After many requests, the rat doll has been a long time coming, this little guy is the first of my new rat sculpt, I wanted to give him a mellow and realistic colour tone. I've always liked the thought of a snowy rat, nice white coat and fluffy little tail. The challenge was really the tail, I was undecided about what material I should make it from so I tried two different materials. I tried faux suede but it wasn't the look I was after, I decided to go with the fluffy faux fur, much more fitting for those colder climates.
Yuki is made from a thick pile faux fur, I decided to go for a more realistic look and give her solid black eyes like a real rat. At the request of Yuki, she has two blue circle markings on her forehead.
